Before you enrol you MUST read the following: D of E requires a substantial amount of commitment and organisation to all sections of an Award, not just the Expedition element. Participants must accept that it is their responsibility to ensure that necessary information and evidence is uploaded to their edofe account on a regular basis. Access to expeditions is NOT automatic. Sufficient progress from Skill, Physical and Volunteering MUST be evident on edofe.org before participants will be permitted to attend training and assessment Expeditions. Boys must have completed their Bronze Award and started Silver Skill, Physical and Volunteering (verified on edofe) to be eligible for expedition training. Furthermore, boys at Silver level must have COMPLETED two sections from Skill, Physical and Volunteering (verified on edofe) to participate in an assessed expedition. To enrol at Silver level you MUST meet the following criteria: You are 15 years old (minimum) AND HAVE COMPLETED THREE SECTIONS OF YOUR BRONZE AWARD (evident on your edofe account) Please remember to enclose a cheque, made payable to QEGS, for £14. Your name, form and Award level should be on the back. Please see the Expedition section for more details on specific expeditions, including letters and reservation forms. |
