Sunday evening Groups are collected by parents from their finish point

Note that these expeditions rely on support from parents. Staff will be in the area to monitor progess and for your safety. Equipment beyond personal kit is provided by QEGS (stoves, tents, maps etc) but you will have to provide all your own food and Coleman gas, AND COMPASS. The cost of this expedition is £10. If you wish to go bring a completed consent form and a cheque for £10 made payable to QEGS to Mr McWilliam.

Dates of the expedition are:

Expedition 1 September 23th - 25th 2011
Expedition 2 October 7th - 9th 2011

Due to daylight issues, groups are expected to make prompt starts to their walking days. It is not considered safe for groups to be walking after dark. An early start will mean that late arrival is not an issue. FOR REASONS OF SAFETY, GROUPS WHO ARE STILL WALKING AFTER SUNSET MAY BE REMOVED FROM EXPEDITION.

Please note that if you play rugby for a school team then you can only walk on the second expedition..
